Selah Monday Meditation: The Ancient Path to Compassion

What if compassion wasn’t something you had to force…
What if it was something already waiting quietly within you, waiting for you to share it?

In this week’s Selah Monday Meditation, we explore the beautiful Hebrew word Rachamim—a word often translated as compassion, yet rooted in the Hebrew word Rechem, meaning womb.

The ancient Hebrews understood compassion as something that shelters life, nurtures life, and protects life.
Together, we’ll gently cultivate this spirit of compassion by offering blessings first to someone we love, then to someone we may barely know, and finally returning those same blessings to ourselves.

Along the way, we’ll discover how meditation helps us notice our thoughts without becoming lost in every story they tell, allowing our hearts to soften with greater peace, awareness, and presence.
You don’t need to fix anything.
You don’t need to strive.
Simply pause…
Breathe…
And allow Rachamim to gently grow.

If this Selah meditation spoke to your heart, I’d love to invite you to continue the journey.
My ebook, Spiritual Healing, grew out of one of the most difficult seasons of my life—a painful breakup that unexpectedly became a path toward deeper healing, self-awareness, and lasting peace.
Although it began with my story, it was written for anyone navigating life’s changes with courage and hope.
Inside you’ll find practical reflection exercises and subconscious tools to help you awaken your inner wisdom, move beyond victimhood, and become the conscious author of the life you choose to create.
